ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is an electronic travel permit application system that is requisite for non-EU citizens- including US and UK citizens- to visit the EU for any amount of time. It requires an application to be filled out, submitted, and approved prior to traveling, beginning in 2026.
You’ll fill out the form and pay the fee, and we will submit the form on your behalf to the proper authorities. Ireland is the only country in the EU that does not currently require an ETIAS approval for entrance. Please note that Northern Ireland requires ETA approval.
Residents of EU countries do not need to fill out the ETIAS form for inter-EU travel. Please note that this does not include the United Kingdom, which will require ETA approval for all EU citizens starting 5 March 2025.
Each application is unique, but the ETIAS recommends submitting the application as soon as possible, once your travel plans are made.
No, ETIAS status is attached electronically to your passport. You’ll never have to provide physical ETIAS forms at any point in your travels.
If you are traveling abroad from any non-EU, non-UK country and plan on having a stop in the United Kingdom and an EU country, you will need to apply for and be approved by both ETIAS and ETA.
